The Spirit of the Dance Exhibit by Deidre Hardin

The Spirit of the Dance sculpture series expresses the essence of virtuous praise. The figures are featureless and mahogany to create emphasis on the figurative movement reflecting an emotion. A gentle reminder to allow ourselves to DANCE.

This show is presented in the Level 3 Gallery and is free and open to the public.

About the Artist

Deidre Hardin is a sculptor and K-12 art teacher who creates a range of colorful works that include mixed material. Hardin's sculptures from the start require style and resourcefulness, creating an eclectic feast for the eyes. Her sculptures are without features to direct attention to the fundamental element and principle of form and movement, as well as the essence of the expressed virtue.

Her work has been displayed in the Denver International Airport (DIA), Blair Caldwell African American Research Library, and local galleries in group and solo exhibitions.
