Obtained B.S. from Velvetex College of Cosmetology (Little Rock) in 1947

Attended Duncan's Beauty Academy (Denver) in 1948

Worked as a cosmetologist at Anderson's Beauty Salon from 1949-1954

Owns and operates Charlene's House of Beauty at 2820 Welton Street in the Five Points Neighborhood of Denver
