Biographical Information on Billie Arlene Grant

Born on 09 April 1928 in Denver, Colorado

1949 - Bachelor of Arts in journalism from the University of Denver
  (The first black woman at the University of Denver to receive the Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism.)

Graduate Study in public relations at the State University of Iowa (Iowa City)

Graduate Study in journalism and English at Denver University and Colorado University

Graduated from the National Writers School and Writer's Digest School, study in creative writing

On-the-job training in public relations at Philander Smith College, Little Rock, Arkansas
