Scope and Content

The Brown Papers contain high school composition books with written exercises and personal asides from the 1910s by both Mable and Tom Brown. (Presumably, Tom and Mable were related, although it is not known to what extent.) Voice and piano music scores from 1939 also appear – many have remarks written in pencil.

According to the music book in Box 1, Folder #3, Mable Brown lived at 301 East Monroe Street (in Denver?).
